Harare/Windhoek, Jan 19 (UNI) Pakistan and South Africa recorded commanding victories in their respective ICC Under-19 World Cup fixtures on Monday, underlining their status as strong contenders in the tournament.
In Harare, Pakistan chased down Scotland's total of 187 with six wickets to spare, reaching 190 for 4 in 44 overs. Quick bowler Ali Raza set the tone early, rattling Scotland’s top order with pace and precision.
He finished with figures of 4 for 37, including two wickets in a memorable first over. Left-arm wrist spinner Momin Qamar complemented the attack by taking 3 for 46, dismissing Scotland’s middle order.
