Over 3,000 cottages and hotels searched in Raigad after suspicious boat alert

Raigad July 10 (UNI) A state of high alert was declared along the coastal regions of Raigad district in Maharashtra after the Indian Coast Guard received an alert about a suspicious boat.
In response, the Raigad Police launched a massive search operation across coastal areas. Although it was later confirmed that the suspected object was a GPS-tracked buoy, security agencies have decided to continue their intensified vigilance to ensure coastal safety.
As part of the operation, more than 3,000 cottages and hotels along the coastline have been inspected. Police officials indicated that the search operation will continue in the coming days.
