Over 1000 suspected illegal immigrants detected in Meghalaya by student’s activists

Shillong, Jul 31 (UNI) Meghalaya’s influential Khasi’ Students Union (KSU) today launched their drive to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the state a day after the publication the National Register of Citizens in Assam.
The KSU activists have set up their infiltration checkpoint along the National Highway connecting Lower Assam and Barak Valley of Assam claimed to have detected over 1000 immigrants in just one day.
The checkpoints were set up at Ratacherra in East Jaiñtia Hills district bordering Barak Valley of Assam’, Athiabari in West Khasi Hills district and 20th Miles near Byrnihat in Ri-Bhoi district bordering Kamrup and Goalpara districts of Assam.

Ambala, May 16 (UNI) he Haryana School Education Board (HSEB) announced that the Class 12 results have been very discouraging. Around 100 schools have been listed and sent to the Education Directorate. Although the 12th grade board results were 85.66 per cent, the result list for all schools was "shocking".
