Over 100 Naxals surrender with 124 weapons in presence of Telangana CM Reddy

Hyderabad, March 7 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy today inspected the sophisticated weapons handed over to the police by Maoists who surrendered at the Integrated Command and Control Centre in Hyderabad.
A total of 130 Maoists laid down their arms in the presence of the Chief Minister. Among those who surrendered were three State Committee members, one Regional Committee member, 10 Divisional Committee members, 46 Area Committee members and 70 party members.
The surrendered Maoists handed over 124 weapons to the police. The seized arms included one INSAS LMG rifle, 31 AK-47 rifles, 21 INSAS rifles, 20 SLR rifles, 18 .303 rifles and 33 other firearms.
