Patna, Feb 28 (UNI) The opposition RJD members created ruckus in Bihar assembly on Wednesday in support of the demand to increase exgratia amount to Rs 4 lakh in case of an accidental death of labourers outside the state.
Intervening during the reply by Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha to a starred question of Vinay Bihari, the opposition members said that the exgratia amount in case of death of the labourers outside the state in an accident was insufficient and should be increased up to Rs 4 lakh.
Through his starred question Vinay Bihari had demanded to increase the compensation amount saying that in case of death of the labourers within the state the exgratia amount was Rs 4,00,000 whereas for those who lost their lives outside the state were given only Rs 2,00,000 as an exgratia.
