OPDR demands release of abducted Velugumatla leader Muttayya

Hyderabad, March 10 (UNI) The Organisation for Protection of Democratic Rights (OPDR), Telangana, on Wednesday demanded the immediate and safe release of Polaboyina Muttayya (52), a Koya tribal from Adavi Maddulapalli village in Khammam district, who was allegedly abducted in the city on Tuesday evening.
In a joint statement, OPDR General Secretary D. Vijayender Rao and President Dr. S. Jatin Kumar urged the public and democratic forces to take note of the incident and strongly protest against the abduction.
Muttayya, a key leader of the struggle for house sites at Velugumatla in Khammam town, had come to New Marutinagar, Road No. 12, near Merun Road in Hyderabad.
