Op Dawn 2.0: Drug peddler arrested in Pasighat with contraband and cash

Itanagar, Sep 12 (UNI) In a major success under Operation Dawn 2.0, the East Siang Police has apprehended a drug peddler and seized suspected heroin weighing about 9.69 grams, some cash, and other incriminating materials in Pasighat today.

Acting on credible intelligence, the Anti-Drugs Squad (ADS) of East Siang Police, in close coordination with Anti-Drugs Warriors, Pasighat, carried out a meticulously planned operation at Yagrung village. An undercover buyer was deployed to approach the peddler, following which the suspect, Gonong Taloh, who has long been involved in the illicit sale of narcotics, was caught red-handed.
