One dead, several injured in separate road accidents in Jharkhand

Giridih, Feb 13 ( UNI) At least two persons lost their lives and several others were injured in two separate road accidents reported from different parts of Giridih district over the past 24 hours.
In the first incident, a man died and another sustained serious injuries after a truck and an auto collided head-on near Alkapuri Chowk under Pachamba police station limits in Giridih town early Friday morning.
According to police sources, the injured were identified as Prem Das, a resident of Ratanpura under Hirodih police station area, and Chhotu Ram of Devpahari under Deori police station limits. Both were rushed to Giridih Sadar Hospital after local residents informed the Pachamba police about the mishap.
