Om Birla asks LS members not to come to house wearing badge

New Delhi, Dec 5 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Thursday said that no member should come to the house wearing a badge other than the national flag.

As soon as the Zero Hour began, Birla said, "According to Rule 349, no member should come to the house wearing a badge. Apart from the national flag, no member can enter the house wearing any other badge".
He said that this is applicable to both the sides of the house. Whether, the person doing this is a member of the ruling party or the Opposition, he will forbid everyone from wearing the badge.

It may be mentioned that the Congress members wore jackets with the slogan 'Modi Adani ek hain (Modi and Adani are one) and Adani safe hain (Adani is safe)’ written on them.

While the Congress members wore the badges on their black jackets, Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi wore it on his signature white T-shirt.
