Old lady killed in road accident

Nashik, Aug 2 (UNI) A 70-year- old woman died on the spot when a speeding truck hit her near the Bali temple on the Mumbai-Agra national highway near here today.
According to police, The deceased woman has been identified as Radhabai Rambhau Gaikwad, a resident of Hanumannagar, Amritdhamnear here. Radhabai left her home and reached the Bali Temple. While she was crossing the highway on foot, the truck driver on the road in front of Peshwa Hotel hit Radhabai hard. She suffered severe injuries to her head and legs and died of bleeding. The police were called after the incident. A case of accidental death has been registered with the Panchavati Police station and further investigations are on.
