Odisha to transform 22 ITIs into High-Tech centres of excellence with Tata Partnership

Bhubaneswar, Feb 18 (UNI) In a major boost to skill development, the Odisha government on Wednesday announced the upgradation of 22 government ITIs into Centres of Excellence at an estimated cost of Rs. 779 crore, in collaboration with Tata Technologies.
Under the agreement, the state government will bear 14 per cent of the total project cost, while Tata Technologies will contribute approximately 86 per cent.
The upgraded institutes will feature state-of-the-art laboratories and modern, industry-relevant machinery, ensuring that training infrastructure aligns with current industrial standards.
