Odisha to establish policy think tank SITI

Bhubaneswar, Apr 18 (UNI) The Odisha government will soon establish the State Institute for Transformative Initiatives (SITI), envisioned as a premier think tank and strategic advisory body to guide policy formulation and governance in the state.
The proposed institution will align with the long-term vision of "Samrudha Odisha 2036" and "Viksit Bharat 2047." A resolution to this effect has been issued by the Planning & Convergence Department.
The move comes after the state government dissolved the State Planning Board on July 18, 2024, marking a shift away from conventional planning mechanisms.
