Odisha signs two MoUs to boost agricultural development

Bhubaneswar, Dec 9 (UNI) The Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment (DAFE) of the Odisha Government on Tuesday signed two major Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to advance agricultural development and promote digital transformation in the state’s farming sector.
The first MoU was signed between DAFE and Heifer International to support value chain development for ginger, turmeric, and millets in Odisha.
The initiative aims to enhance farmer income,strengthen value chain development,modernise agricultural practices,improve market linkages for producers of ginger, turmeric, and millets (Shree Anna)
