Odisha: Police arrest KIIT student in connection with Nepali Girl's suicide

Bhubaneswar, Feb 17 (UNI) The Commissionerate Police on Monday arrested a third-year B.Tech student of KIIT University in connection with the suicide of a Nepali girl student, who was also a third-year B.Tech student.
The Nepali girl was found dead by suicide on Sunday night inside her hostel room, which led to commotion on the campus. Hundreds of Nepali students studying at KIIT University took to the streets to protest the tragic incident.
Commissioner of Police S. Debdutta Singh told reporters that the accused student has been arrested and presented before the court, which has sent him to judicial custody.
