Odisha plans integrated blue economy roadmap to boost marine-based growth

Bhubaneswar; May 15 (UNI) The Odisha government has initiated the process for preparation of a comprehensive Blue Economy roadmap aimed at leveraging marine resources for sustainable economic growth, employment generation and coastal development.
The initiative was discussed at a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Garg at Lok Seva Bhavan earlier this week.
The proposed roadmap will be prepared on the basis of recommendations made during the “Global Summit on Blue Economy-2026” held in Bhubaneswar on March 13 and 14, officials said.
