Odisha: MCL launches ‘Swayamsiddha’ women empowerment initiative

Bhubaneshwar, Dec 16 (UNI) Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), pledging its commitment to inclusive growth and women-led development, has launched “SWAYAMSIDDHA”, a flagship women empowerment initiative aimed at nurturing leadership, enhancing professional competencies, and building confidence among women employees, the PSU officials said on Tuesday.
The initiative, conceptualised by Women in Public Sector–MCL, focuses on skill development, leadership orientation, digital literacy, and entrepreneurial thinking, enabling women to excel in both professional and personal domains.
Suday A. Kaole, Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD), MCL, officially launched the initiative at the company headquarters and highlighted MCL’s commitment to inclusive growth and the pivotal role of women in organisational excellence and nation-building.
