Odisha launches AI Mission to lead India’s digital governance revolution

Bhubaneswar, Jan 16 (UNI) The Odisha AI Mission, a flagship initiative of the Government of Odisha, aims to position the state as a leader in the artificial intelligence (AI) revolution by fostering innovation-driven and citizen-centric governance.
The mission focuses on strengthening the “Ease of Living” for citizens by integrating advanced technologies into administrative processes and encouraging a culture of innovation within the state bureaucracy.
As part of its commitment to modernizing and enhancing citizen service delivery, the Electronics & Information Technology (E&IT) Department of the Odisha Government, through the Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC), on Friday conducted a specialized capacity-building programme for Director-level officers from various government departments.

Arms cache recovered by Giridih police during Anti-Naxal operation

Giridih, Feb 7 (UNI) Giridih Police achieved a breakthrough in an anti-Naxal operation on Saturday, recovering a cache of arms and explosives from the foothills of Parasnath in Jharkhand. The joint team of police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) unearthed rifles, hand grenades, and other weapons that had been buried underground by Naxal operatives.
