Odisha, Japan's Tottori prefecture move towards friendship pact to boost trade, tourism, youth exchange

Bhubaneswar, June 6 (UNI) Odisha and Japan's Tottori Prefecture have taken a significant step towards strengthening bilateral ties, with a proposed Friendship Agreement expected to open new avenues of cooperation in trade, tourism, education, skill development, MSMEs, and people-to-people exchanges.
The proposed agreement was discussed during a virtual meeting held on Friday between senior officials and Chief Secretaries of Odisha and the Government of Tottori Prefecture.
The discussions focused on building long-term institutional partnerships and expanding collaboration across multiple sectors of mutual interest.

CM orders statewide crackdown on illegal liquor and drug dens after Baruipur horror
