Odisha Govt to transform Bhubaneswar into resilient, technology-driven model city

Bhubaneswar, Nov 12 (UNI) The Odisha government is committed to transforming Bhubaneswar into an inclusive, resilient, and technology-driven model city, said Development Commissioner Anu Garg.
Chairing the 30th Board Meeting of Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited (BSCL), Garg reviewed the progress of key Smart City projects and approved several new measures to strengthen citizen-centric urban governance and core infrastructure.
The Board assessed ongoing technology and management-based initiatives such as the installation of 3,000 AI-enabled CCTV cameras, an adaptive traffic signal system, and a city-wide public address network aimed at enhancing safety, especially for women, improving mobility, and enabling real-time urban surveillance.
