Odisha Governor calls for greater awareness of NEP 2020

Bhubaneswar, Feb 17 (UNI) Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati on Monday emphasized the need for greater awareness of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 among faculty members.
He made this remark during a review meeting of the Higher Education Department held in the mini-conference hall of Raj Bhavan.
The meeting was attended by Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj and senior officials, including Commissioner-cum-Secretary Arvind Agrawal.

Two held in Delhi in major heroin trafficking cases linked to Mizoram

Aizawl, Nov 7 (UNI) Mizoram Police have arrested two key accused persons in connection with two major heroin trafficking cases, both linked to transnational drug networks operating between India and Myanmar.
Mizoram Police, in a statement on Friday, said that on November 4, a woman identified as Lalchhuanthangi (50), a resident of Khatla South, Aizawl, who had been living in New Delhi, was apprehended in the national capital by a team from Zokhawthar Police Station with the assistance of the Special Bureau and Delhi Police.
