Odisha: Forest personnel rescue a 7.9 feet crocodile from village pond

Kendrapara, Sep 28 (UNI) The forest personnel of Rajnagar forest Range have rescued a 7.9 feet long female Estuarine crocodile from a village pond and released the reptile in Baunsagarh river.

DFO of Rajnagar Mangrove forest and wildlife division Sudarshan Gopinath Jadav said the crocodile was spotted in the pond of one Basudev Bhuiyan, of Harishpur in Rajnagar.
