Odisha: Elaborate arrangements made for Navy Day celebration

Puri, Dec 3 (UNI) The Odisha government and the Navy are preparing to observe Navy Day on Wednesday along the Puri Blue Flag Beach.
President Draupadi Murmu, the supreme commander of the Indian defence forces, will be the Chief Guest. The admiral of the Indian Navy, Dinesh K Tripathy, will host the President.
The Indian Navy celebrates the day every year to mark the decisive action in the Indo-Pakistan war when “Operation Trident” was launched on December 4, 1971.
