Odisha DGP directs senior officers to strengthen security after Delhi blast

Bhubaneswar, Nov 11 (UNI) Odisha Director General of Police (DGP) Y.B. Khurania has directed senior police officials across the state to strengthen security arrangements in view of the prevailing situation following Monday’s blast in Delhi.
The DGP chaired a high-level review meeting at the State Police Headquarters in Cuttack last night to assess the state’s overall security preparedness. Senior officers were instructed to remain vigilant and ready to handle any untoward incident.
Khurania visited the Bali Yatra venue in Cuttack and reviewed the security arrangements in detail. He interacted with officers deployed on-site and stressed the need to ensure that there are no lapses in public safety measures.
