Odisha CM reiterates Commitment to fill 1.5 lakh vacancies in five years

Bhubaneswar, Dec 11 (UNI) Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday reiterated the Odisha government’s commitment to fill all 1.5 lakh vacant posts within five years, including 65,000 government posts within two years.
Addressing newly appointed candidates at the 13th Recruitment Mela 2025 held at OUAT’s Agriculture Education Auditorium, Majhi said that from June last year till today, within just 18 months, 37,916 appointments have been made. Work is underway to fill another 30,000 posts within the next six months.
The Chief Minister distributed appointment letters to 232 candidates of the Water Resources Department, 197 candidates of the Works Department, 142 candidates of the Housing & Urban Development Department for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE), five Finance & Accounts Officers, and 15 Planning Assistants.

EC orders strict scrutiny of documents in voter list revision hearings
