Odisha: Bhitarkanika Park officials rescue 6.2-foot-long saltwater crocodile

Kendrapara, June 17 (UNI) Personnel of Bhitarkanika National Park today rescued a 6.2-foot-long male saltwater crocodile from a pond at Dangamala village in the district.
The crocodile was rescued with the help of a fishing net from the pond of one Rajesh Kumar Pati at Dangamala village.
Forest officials suspect that the crocodile might have entered the pond from the nearby Balijora nullah during a high tide.
