OBC leader Laxman Hake accuses parties of undermining quota, warns of ‘Struggle Yatra’

Mumbai Aug 11 ( UNI) OBC community leader Prof. Laxman Hake has accused both ruling and opposition parties of colluding to weaken the reservation rights granted to Other Backward Classes (OBCs) by social reformers Mahatma Phule, Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj, and Dr. BR Ambedkar.
Hake alleged that with non-OBC individuals across villages now obtaining OBC certificates, genuine beneficiaries are being deprived of their rightful quota. He claimed these certificates are even being used by “troublemakers” to contest elections.
Directly targeting Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil who is pushing for Kunbi caste certificates for Marathas, Hake labelled him “a cunning fox” and urged OBCs to stand united. “The silence of the OBC community should not be mistaken for weakness. Our youth are aware, and soon we will launch a ‘Struggle Yatra’ to show our strength,” he said.
