NTT DATA Business Solutions partners with NPCI Bharat Connect to Simplify B2B Payments for SAP Enterprises

Hyderabad, Feb 12 (UNI): NTT DATA Business Solutions on Thursday announced a strategic partnership with NPCI Bharat Connect to streamline business-to-business (B2B) payments for enterprises running SAP systems.
The collaboration was unveiled at the company's flagship annual event, Transformation NOW! 2026, held in Hyderabad.
Under the partnership, Bharat Connect will be seamlessly integrated within SAP environments, enabling enterprises to digitise and simplify B2B payment workflows.
The integration is aimed at improving operational efficiency, transparency, speed of transactions, and regulatory compliance for mid-sized and large enterprises with complex banking and payment ecosystems.
The announcement was made in the presence of Krunal Patel, Managing Director, NTT DATA Business Solutions India, and Norbert Rotter, Global CEO, along with senior leadership from NPCI Bharat Connect.
Commenting on the partnership, Krunal Patel said enterprises often struggle with fragmented systems and multiple banking relationships in managing B2B payments.
"By integrating SAP ERP systems directly with leading banking partners through NPCI Bharat Connect, we are enabling a unified payment interface that streamlines end-to-end workflows, improves efficiency, and ensures faster, more reliable transactions," he said.
The partnership underscores NTT DATA Business Solutions' focus on building next-generation digital payment infrastructure aligned with India's broader push towards a digitally empowered economy.
Transformation NOW! 2026 brought together over 1,500 CXOs and industry leaders to deliberate on building adaptive, AI-driven enterprises in the context of India's rapid digital transformation.
The summit focused on themes such as enterprise IT resilience, responsible AI adoption, data sovereignty, and leveraging India's digital public infrastructure.
The event featured sector-specific tracks including Pharma 4.0: From Molecule to Market and more than 15 immersive experience zones showcasing live SAP-led implementations across automotive, chemicals, consumer products, and manufacturing—key sectors driving India's economic growth.
