Rain wreaked havoc in UP: 58 killed in incidents

Lucknow, Sept 27 (UNI) Rain wreaked havoc in Uttar Pradesh due to cyclone Arnab, as more than 58 people lost their lives in different incidents during the past 48 hours. With heavy downpours accompanied by strong winds lashing the Terai region, Bundelkhand and other areas, with over 200 mm of rain falling in about 10 districts. On Sunday morning, light rain continued in Lucknow and surrounding districts. The rains caused daytime temperatures to drop well below normal in many districts.
