Haryana: Sonipat records worst air quality in NCR with AQI at 224, Delhi at 153

Panchkula, Oct 25 (UNI) Sonipat emerged as the most polluted city in the National Capital Region (NCR) on Sunday, recording an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 224 in the 'poor' category, significantly higher than Delhi's 153, according to the latest air quality bulletin released at 4 pm. Sonipat was the only city among those listed in the NCR bulletin to fall into the 'poor' category, with fine particulate matter (PM2.5) identified as the dominant pollutant.
