Punjab rolls out 100 rural mini buses, plans 309 more vehicles next month

Chandigarh, Oct 26 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday flagged off 100 new mini buses to improve transport links between villages and urban centres, announcing that another 309 full-sized buses would be inducted into the state transport fleet next month. The 29-seater vehicles, added to the Pepsu Road Transport Corporation (PRTC), will operate on rural and smaller-town routes, providing improved connectivity for students, workers, farmers and residents travelling for healthcare and essential services.
