Sonipat police to check buses at KGP-KMP junction ahead of Nov 1 Delhi entry restrictions

Sonipat, Oct 27 (UNI) Sonipat Police will intensify vehicle checks at the KGP-KMP zero point ahead of November 1, when new fuel and emission norms for buses entering Delhi are scheduled to take effect under directions issued by the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM). Under the prescribed norms, buses entering Delhi will have to comply with the applicable requirements for CNG, electric and BS-VI diesel vehicles. The directions also cover buses operating under All India Tourist Permits and Delhi-registered buses, as applicable under the CAQM guidelines.
