Haryana rolls out next Gen e-challan system; nearly 10 lakh helmet violations booked

Panchkula, Oct 6 (UNI) Haryana Police has rolled out a next-generation e-Challan system across the state, introducing fixed timelines for issuing traffic notices, responding to violations and disposing of grievances, Director General of Police Ajay Singhal said on Tuesday. Under the new digital system, a notice must be issued within three days of a traffic violation, while motorists will have 45 days to accept or contest a challan.
