Shimla tunnel work in Himachal Pradesh under scrutiny after cracks appear in residential buildings

Shimla, Oct 17 (UNI)Shimla administration has constituted a committee to inspect the latest status of the four-lane tunnel construction near Sanjauli-Bhattakufar-Dhalli in Himachal Pradesh, following reports of cracks in residential buildings allegedly caused by blasting. It was decided that resuming the work to be taken after an IIT Roorkee team submits its assessment. Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap on Saturday held a meeting with representatives of the Four-Lane Affected Committee to review complaints regarding non-compliance with directions issued by the district administration to the construction companies.
