NC MLA booked after PSO alleges assault

Srinagar, Oct 2 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Police have registered a case against ruling National Conference MLA Altaf Ahmed Wani alias Kaloo following a complaint of assault by the legislator's personal security officer, officials said on Friday. Wani, who represents the Pahalgam assembly constituency in south Kashmir however, denied the allegations, claiming the case stemmed from his complaint to senior security officials over the PSO's alleged absence from duty for several days.
