Haryana: Consumer Commission orders HDFC Bank to refund loan processing fee

Kaithal (Haryana), October 15 (UNI) The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in Kaithal has directed HDFC Bank to refund a loan processing fee of Rs 8,850 deducted from a lawyer's account and pay Rs 2,000 as compensation for deficiency in service and unfair trade practice. The order was passed by the Commission's presiding member Harisha Mehta and member Ramesh Kumar after hearing a complaint filed by advocate Harpal Duhan on September 17, 2025.
