Punjab CM's OSD Skips Second CBI Summons, Sends Legal Reply in Corruption Probe

Chandigarh, Oct 9 (UNI) Rajbir Singh Ghuman, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, failed to appear before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for the second time on Friday in connection with a corruption and alleged influence-peddling case, although he is understood to have submitted a legal response to the agency's summons. The development came a day after Mann said his aide would cooperate with investigators if the summons were properly served, adding a fresh dimension to the investigation into allegations involving government postings, tenders and favourable administrative decisions.
