Uttarakhand: BJP get Phanindranath Sharma as new RSS-backed general secretary

By Prithviraj Singh Dehradun, Sep 24 (UNI) A day after Ram Madhav was made party's state in-charge for Uttarakhand, BJP's central leadership today appointed RSS ideologue Phanindranath Sharma as new state organisational general secretary. The post meant mainly for RSS ideologues had been vacant since the departure of Sharma's predecessor Ajay Kumar. Phanindranath Sharma, currently state BJP general secretary in Haryana, is considered a seasoned leader and strong organisational strategist in the party.
