Most Ambedkar statues vandalised during BJP rule in UP: Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow, Sep 20 (UNI) Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday said that the highest number of statues of Constitution-maker Dr. B.R. Ambedkar were vandalised during the BJP's tenure in Uttar Pradesh.He further claimed that arrests had been made in 14 cases, while the accused remained unidentified in 45 cases. Named complaints were filed in eight cases, he said, adding that no action was taken in 84 cases.
