Former ED officer who questioned Majithia joins Amritpal Singh's party

Chandigarh, Sep 23 (UNI) Former Enforcement Directorate officer Niranjan Singh, who questioned senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia while investigating a high-profile drug-linked money laundering case in Punjab, joined jailed lawmaker Amritpal Singh's political party on Wednesday. Singh, a former ED deputy director, joined Akali Dal (Waris Punjab De) in Chandigarh in the presence of Amritpal Singh's father Tarsem Singh and legislator Manpreet Singh Ayali.
