Chhattisgarh Dhokra artisan selected for Shilp Guru Award

Raipur, October 15 (UNI) Bannuram Baid, a traditional Dhokra artisan from Kondagaon district of Chhattisgarh, has been selected for the Shilp Guru Award 2025 for his contribution to preserving and promoting Bastar's traditional bell-metal craft. His name features in the final selection list issued by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), union Ministry of Textiles. Six master craftspeople from across the country have been selected for the award.
