First in J&K, two Anantnag limestone blocks auctioned under Centre's mineral auction process

Srinagar, Oct 2 (UNI) In a first for Jammu and Kashmir, two limestone mineral blocks in Anantnag district have been successfully auctioned under the Centre's mineral auction process, paving the way for new phase of organised mineral development in the union Territory. Officials said the Koot-Kapran and Wantrag limestone blocks were auctioned through the Ministry of Mines, Government of India.
