J&K IGP directs audit of school buses, commercial vehicles, identification of accident hotspots

Jammu, Oct 18 (UNI)Jammu and Kashmir Inspector General of Police (Traffic) M Suleman Choudhary on Sunday directed officers to intensify traffic enforcement in rural areas, audit school buses and commercial vehicles, identify accident-prone spots and strengthen road safety measures across the Rajouri-Poonch region. Chairing a coordination meeting with District Police and Traffic Police officers at the District Police Lines in Rajouri, Choudhary stressed the need for sustained field-level action and coordinated efforts to reduce road accidents, improve traffic discipline and ensure smooth traffic movement.
