Himachal CM announces higher milk, apple procurement prices to boost rural economy

Shimla, October 1 (UNI) Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Thursday announced an increase in the support price of milk from December 1 and raised the procurement price of apples under the Market Intervention Scheme from Rs 12 to Rs 13 per kg, saying the measures would strengthen the rural economy and increase farmers' incomes.
