HP: Nutrition awareness camp held at Balu Gloa

Kangra, Sep 23 (UNI) A block-level awareness camp was organised at Balu Gloa on Wednesday under the National Nutrition Month 2026 campaign on the theme "Our Anganwadi, Our Responsibility". The campaign is being observed from September 9 to October 8 to promote awareness about balanced nutrition, maternal and child health, prevention of malnutrition, hygiene and services available through Anganwadi centres. Dr Nitesh Manhas highlighted the importance of breastfeeding, complementary feeding after six months, regular health check-ups, immunisation and monitoring of children's growth.
