Husband, elder sister donate kidneys as RPGMC Tanda performs two transplants in a month

Ashok Raina Dharamshala, Oct 22 (UNI) Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College (RPGMC), Tanda, has successfully performed two kidney transplants this month, taking the institution's total to 29. In one case, a husband donated a kidney to his wife suffering from renal failure following an autoimmune disease. In the other, an elder sister donated a kidney to her younger sister from Chamba district, who had been undergoing haemodialysis.
