Ambala Civil Hospital expansion gets Defence Minister's nod on Military land

Ambala, Oct 5 (UNI) Expansion of the Ambala Cantonment Civil Hospital in Haryana has received a fresh boost with Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij securing a positive assurance from Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on providing adjoining military land for the project. Vij said the hospital urgently needs additional space as the population of Ambala Cantonment has increased manifold. When the cantonment was established, its population was around 30,000-40,000, while it now caters to nearly three to four lakh people.
