Himachal Pradesh: Dharamshala allows sale, use of only approved green firecrackers on Diwali

Dharamshala, Nov 2 (UNI) In view of the upcoming Diwali festival, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Mohit Rattan has issued directions regulating the sale and use of firecrackers in Dharamshala subdivision, allowing only approved green firecrackers to ensure public safety and protect public property. Issuing orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, the SDM has designated four locations for the sale of firecrackers by licensed and authorised vendors.
