SP-Congress seat sharing process yet to begin in UP

By Manoj Bhadra Lucknow, Sep 26 (UNI) Even as Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has launched his poll campaign with his PDA Rath reaching Rae Bareli, the parliamentary constituency of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, there has been no formal engagement between the two parties on seat-sharing for the upcoming elections. No official meeting has so far been held to advance negotiations between the SP and Congress, nor has a coordination committee been constituted as was done for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
