Punjab: CEO briefs political parties on special summary revision of electoral rolls for 2027

Chandigarh, Oct 22 (UNI) Punjab Chief Electoral Officer Anindita Mitra today held a meeting with representatives of political parties to brief them on the schedule for the Special Summary Revision (SSR) of Photo Electoral Rolls, with January 1, 2027, as the qualifying date. The meeting, chaired by Mitra, a senior IAS officer, focused on the forthcoming revision exercise aimed at updating the state's electoral rolls ahead of 2027.
