J&K CEO directs house-to-house drive to enrol left-out, first-time voters

Srinagar, Oct 1 (UNI) Chief Electoral Officer, Jammu and Kashmir, Sanjeev Verma on Thursday chaired a meeting with District Election Officers (DEOs) and Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) to review the enrolment of left-out eligible and young, first-time voters under the ongoing process of continuous updation of electoral rolls. During the meeting, Verma stressed the need to identify and enrol all eligible persons who have attained the qualifying age but are yet to register as voters, with special focus on young and first-time electors.
